Wild Heather Atelier is thrilled to introduce our fun and luxurious felted soap, a unique twist using our traditional bar soap. The wool wrapping helps the soap to last longer and doubles as a washcloth. As the soap is used, the wool shrinks, tightening around the soap and extending its lifespan. Once the soap is used up, the wool wrapping can be composted or repurposed.
Felted Spring Soap (One Bar)
Felted soap is soap that has been encased in wool fibers, creating a built-in washcloth. Before using Wild Heather Atelier's felted soap for the first time, run it under water to wet the wool fibers. This helps to activate the soap and create a lather. Once the felted soap is wet, start rubbing it between your hands or directly on your body. The wool fibers will create a lather as you use it, similar to using a washcloth.
Allow the felted soap to air dry between uses. The wool fibers will shrink slightly as they dry, tightening around the soap and helping it to last longer. Avoid leaving it in standing water, as this can cause the wool fibers to break down more quickly.
After each use, we recommend placing your wet soap on a grated or self-drying soap dish. We don't use commercial-grade stabilizers, we prioritize the use of natural ingredients in our soap, which means allowing it to air dry between uses helps maintain its quality and integrity. This simple step ensures your soap stays fresher for longer, providing you with a luxurious bathing experience every time you use it.

External Use Only: This soap is designed for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Keep Out of Reach of Children: To prevent accidental ingestion or misuse, keep soap bars out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Avoid Open Wounds or Broken Skin: Refrain from using this soap on open wounds, cuts, or irritated skin to prevent discomfort or stinging sensation. Consult a healthcare professional if irritation persists.
Patch Test for Sensitivity: Prior to regular use, perform a patch test on a small area of skin to check for any allergic reactions or sensitivity. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Store in a Cool, Dry Place: To maintain the integrity of the product, store this soap bars in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Avoid Prolonged Exposure to Water: While this soap is formulated to withstand typical usage, prolonged exposure to water may cause the bar to soften or deteriorate more quickly. Store in a well-drained soap dish to prolong its lifespan.
Use as Directed: Follow the recommended usage instructions provided. Overuse of exfoliating ingredients such as pumice and ground walnut shells may lead to excessive abrasion or irritation.
Discontinue Use if Adverse Reactions Occur: If any adverse reactions such as redness, itching, or discomfort occur during or after use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
Caution: Glycerin byproduct may cause surfaces to become slippery. Use caution when stepping in and out of the shower or bath. Rinse shower or bath floor thoroughly after each use to prevent slip hazards.
Do not use if you have an allergy to wool.
At our workshop, we take pride in handcrafting each felted soap with care and attention to detail. Because of this artisanal approach, the color and design of each bar may vary slightly from what is pictured. This ensures that every bar is unique and truly one-of-a-kind, just like you. Each bar weighs approx. 90 grams.
